Scout Troop 16
Indiana School for the Blind
On 19-21 May 2000, Troop 16 went on a camp out at Morgan-Monroe State Forest.  There were nine scouts that camped out, fished, hiked, roasted marshmellows, and other outdoor activities.

Picture below:  Van and trailer used for campout duty.  The troop currently has to rent a trailer when camping. Our Scout trailer fell apart several years ago.  The troop is working on some fund raising to purchase a new camping trailer or find one to be donated.
The Scouts set up their own tents, did cooking and clean up, hiked five miles, went fishing, whittled on some wood, told stories around the camp fire, took care of camp chores, visited other troops camping in the area, played some games, and had a good time.
